What we did
Stadium terracing sealant, movement joints and fire-resistant sealants.
Home to Arsenal FC, Emirates Stadium opened in 2006, a stone’s throw from their former ground at Highbury. Our role in construction was to supply and install joint sealant for the terrace throughout the stadium, and we delivered movement joints in the huge precast units that make up the terracing. Following this, 60,000m of fire-resistant sealant was applied to the terrace joints; this also provided acoustic properties, reducing noise ingress beneath the terrace and in the hospitality areas.
