The National War Museum was founded in 1917 by the government after it was decided that a museum should collect and display material related to World War One. The Imperial War Museum (IWM) London undertook a £40m transformation with new displays to mark the centenary of World War One.

Fastglobe were honoured to be part of this transformation project. We were appointed for our specialist mastic / sealant experience where we completed works to the redevelopment of the main atrium, and display space of the new exhibition for the First World War Centenary commemorations. We complete specialist two-part mastic / sealant to the base plates of columns and internal sanitary mastic / sealant to welfare areas. Works were complete out of hours when the building was closed from the public.
