The Ito-Balmond Pavilion is an award-winning structure designed by Cecil Balmond and Toyo Ito, originally built for the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion programme in Kensington Gardens, London, for the summer of 2002.  With its extremely complex and random pattern the structure created interesting lines formed from different triangles and trapezoids. At the end of use the structure was dismantled and erected at the luxury Hotel Le Beauvallon in southern France. The pavilion now serves as the beach club restaurant of the hotel, across the bay from Saint Tropez.

Fastglobe are privileged to have completed mastic sealant works to this project. The structure was constructed from white-painted aluminium and glass and required sealing to their external interfaces. Our services successfully ensured the structure was protected from external elements in its new home.
