Landguard Fort was built in the 18th century and sits at the mouth of the River Orwell, outside Felixstowe in Suffolk. Built to defend the approach to Harwich Harbour, it was further modified in the 19th and 20th centuries. It was manned through both World Wars and played an important anti-aircraft role during the Second World War.

Fastglobe was contracted on this heritage project to carry out extensive remedial mastic / sealant works to the Grade I listed Landguard Fort and ancient monument.
